Always liked Pearce, especially for Robot Wars as it was on tv when I was a child and went to the fights they put on at worthing leisure centre. Brilliant guy overall and would be likely seen as succesor to motson's position as BBC's "top dog" when it comes to football commentary.

I stand corrected. The figure Pearce uses was frequently given as the official figure before that though, so why it's suddenly gone up I'm unsure. Not that that is a bad thing!
