Why? We need a striker and he was quite highly rated at Luton last year. Or we could just write off all new players before they even play.

Hardly prolific but good experienced pro and 6 foot tall would be a useful foil alongside Forster in the short term.
No worse than Davies probably assuming that will not now happen and Fleetwood will go back to Charlton at the end of the month

With Fleetwood going back that only leaves us with Forster, a half fit centre back, and a striker who hasnt even made it on the bench from the youth team, oh and Jake Robinson.

We need a striker, so him and Davies would be good signings

To be honest if they are good and want to get games and play for us, I couldn't care less where they come from at the moment. In case you hadn't noticed we have very few decent players fit at the moment.
