Thought I might try buying online this season instead of the usual phone bookings ( still not happy about the 0845 con ).

Seems I can't get adult and kids tickets in the family stand online ? Is this the case or am I missing something ? Only seems to allow for number of tickets with no kids option and so when I enter -2- it just comes up with two adult prices.

A work colleague was asking me about this yesterday, how much is it for an adult ticket and 2 children in the family stand? much appreciated.

What 'con' is that?

It's not just an Albion thing, it's a nationwide switch to 0845 by many companies to get more money out of you as nearly all mobile contracts will charge you for 0845 numbers, and most home phone contracts too. I was disappointed when the ticket office was outsourced, resulting in 0845 last season, and I still am.

Before anyone posts links. No, there's no local area code shown for the ticket office on any of the Say no to 0845 type sites.

Last season it was £23.50 and £4.50 for adult + U16 package ( plus £2 booking fee ) £30 in total. Additional U16 was about £13 though, hence the reason I stopped taking my lads mates last season :( , although in previous seasons when my lad was U10 I always managed to get additonal U10's for a quid. It's beyond me why once kids have to start paying U16's they can no longer come for the same price as the first U16. Talk about losing the next generation ! - most of the kids I've taken would not be taken by their own parents.

Here's the link for this seasons prices : http://www.seagulls.co.uk/staticFiles/11/53/0,,10433~152337,00.pdf

Cheers. Not bad actually, both her kids are under 10 so only a £1 each for them both. Agree about the other prices though, seems a bit unfair.

0845 is the same as local rate, 0870 is more expensive. Non-geographical numbers make a lot of sense as it gives you more control about re-directing numbers.

0845 is a 'lo-call' code, meaning it'll cost you the same as calling a local number from a landline.

Thanks for the 0845 number info. I can see Springals point.

Begs the question - If it's the same cost as a local rate then why do a lot of home phone/broadband packages not make them free like they do 01 numbers then ?

Yep, good value for the U10's. Superb idea that really should be carried on into U16's.

...as opposed to Season Tickets, which are

North East Stand
Family Area
(1 Adult + 1 Child)
Adult £461
Under 16 £78
Under 10 £16

Additional
Family members
(Adult) £461
(U16) £103
(U10) £21

So 1 Adult and 2 Kids (Under 10) = £498 for the whole season
