We aren't very good when we go behind it seems. We also aren't that great at holding onto a 1 goal lead in the final few minutes.

We also haven't lost a game where we've scored first. Most of those stats tell you that we're drawing the majority of our games. We have to be more ruthless and kill games off.

He's right. You can only win a game from behind if you go behind, so it's not a useful statistic. You'll probably find the odd 50 game unbeaten run from teams like Arsenal were also a huge amount of games without winning after going behind.

Mea Culpa. Rubor. I blame Hove Grammar School, Polytechnic of Central London and London Institute of Education. I also taught English in Brighton, Milan and Saudi Arabia. Disgraceful. I have now tattooed on my arm that few is the adjective used for countable quantities eg. (pints) and little for uncountable quantities (eg. beer). The superlative use is fewest and least respectively.
