Damn impressive bidding this.
Vicente seems to be stuck on £510 for a while now (sorry to the current bidder for the bounce).

Are these ACTUAL match worn shirts? Washed/unwashed?

I understand that players are issues with two at each match?

I'm not sure, i would guess they are most likely going to be the spare ones, but don't let that assumption put people off from bidding!

Well it does, to be honest!

on the item it does say :

"Shirt worn by Gordon Greer during Albion's 2-0 win against Portsmouth on Saturday 10th March 2012. All profits will be donated to Martlets Hospice and Chestnut Tree House." So in fact I am probably wrong if it says "worn" :)

I think you'll find our players aren't quite flush enough to have 2 shirts per match, especially not charity ones. Last season Glenn Murray wore his Marie Currie Cancer Care shirt in the first half, and in the second half wore a normal match shirt without charity logo. Pretty sure you'll find these are all match shirts. I've bought a number of them down the years, this year I bought Lewis Dunks shirt Poppy Day shirt, that had most definately been worn, lots of loose stitching, sleeve patch damaged, collar torn and stained, (although, they could all be standard Errea fayre I suppose Tony Meolas Loan Spell)

Don't the players have 2 shirts so a replacement can be used if the first is covered in blood or ripped and damaged ? I remember on occasions in the old days players shirts would be caked in mud but then they would reappear for the 2nd half in a clean shirt.

I believe they each had two shirts when we won 1-0 at Palace. Because I recall the (mild) controversy over the 'match worn' McShane shirt...

Think they keep a few unprinted spares for these occasions (they also have all the printing equipment in the kit room)

In those events a blood shirt is worn, normally an un-numbererd, un-named shirt kept on the bench for such instances. As for the charity ones, I think the club are pretty honest about this, no point trying to raise loads of money then someone calling their bluff, note the point I made about GM last season, wore a charity shirt first half, then a normal one second half.
