Coincidentally, was about to recognise that myself - odd setting though and a bit small, so book up.

Terre a terre is a cracking effort and so is English's in the Lanes.

I had two very disappointing meals (one lunch, one diner) in English's last summer, around the time Euro '04 was on. Everything significantly overcooked and the beurre blanc was so disasterous I can only assume that it was made with Tesco Value Margarine

And my companion's 'coquilles st jacques' was grey and dry and had ice crystals in it

I very much hope that I was merely unlucky as my previous experiences of the place were uniformly good
