More revisionist memory. Adam El-Abd sent a dreadful back pass to Henderson on a quagmire of a pitch where it had been raining heavily which was going out for a corner. Hendo tried to stop it, slipped in the mud, whereupon a Bournemouth player nicked the ball and knocked it into the net. Brighton fans generally have never forgiven Hendo for that even though it was Adam's fault for putting him under pressure.
Hendo kept a clean sheet at Selhurst in Oct 2005 with the McShane winner. He also got full Republic caps.
