Fantastic - oh the irony, but also straightforward. A few renditions will get people catching on and would sound great under x3 roofs!!

Also - I've had this buzzing round my head. Very update, could work in its entirety or using a few choice verses & shouldn't need to change the lyrics. Nice reference to "fly" ala seagulls etc - sums up our season on the pitch and the oh so bright future.....

why are poeple lookingh at changing the words of the song, i didnt think that was the idea? Surly you just pick a decent up beat song that gets the crowd going, thats what the others do, look at the celtic video, rangers video, city fans, stoke fans? they jkust sing the actual words and it works? If you change it and only 100 no the words it will be crap and sound awful..............a decent song with a cracking chorus and a bit of chanting...

Absolutely agree...I do not get why people are pretending to be lyrical genius' and changing all the words, just pick a song and maybe tweak the odd word here or there but keep it pretty much the same...Like if it is going to be 'YMCA' then keep it as 'YMCA'. Unfortunately a number of the suggestions have already been taken as I have definitely heard 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling' being sung and Burnley have been singing 'Just Can't Get Enough' long before Celtic took it up. It just needs to be a bit different and original as West Brom sing 'The Lord Is My Shepherd'.

Oh and top shout on Shed 7's 'Getting Better'...But then as I said on a different thread, we already have a club song and anthem, maybe we should just concentrate on getting that sung correctly first!

Indeed; it's a miserable dirge and I can't believe people are suggesting it - it makes God Save the Queen look as zippy and upbeat as Viva Espana in comparison.
