Kuipers Recalled

By Tim Dudding, at Withdean

Michel Kuipers has been recalled to the starting line-up this afternoon for the clash with third-placed Leeds.

The big Dutchman replaces Florent Chaigneau in goal after an impressive performance for the reserves in midweek.

Elsewhere, Aussie Paul Reid is recalled and is set to start on the right of midfield.

Seb Carole would therefore continue in a more attacking role, but this time playing just off the shoulder of Gary Hart. Colin Kazim-Richards starts on the bench.

Youth-team defender Joel Lynch, who was cup tied last week against Coventry, returns at left-back in place of Kerry Mayo, who drops the bench.

Kevin Blackwell makes just one change from the side that drew 1-1 at Wigan in the FA Cup last week, with Richards Cresswell replacing Rob Hulse in attack.

Albion: (4-4-2) Kuipers; El-Abd, McShane, Butters, Lynch; Reid, Carpenter, Hammond, Frutos; Carole, Hart. Subs: Chaigneau (GK), Mayo Robinson, Kazim-Richards, T Elphick.
Leeds: (4-4-2) Sullivan; Kelly, Butler, Kilagllon, Crainey; Miller, Douglas, Derry, Lewis. Blake, Cresswell. Subs: Bennett (GK), Healy, Hulse, Walton, Pugh.

Not a bad line up but I would have gone for Carole on wing and CKR upfront.

Good to see Harty getting a run out, but why cant magoo persist with Hart - CKR partnership, lets have a settled strike pairing PLEASE Mr Magoo
