It's just confidence he needs IMO

Like everyone. He scored against Palace and was the hero. He went on from that to miss 2 big chances V Norwich which he needed to put away seeing as this would have been when he was confident. Not sure Potter keeping him out from the starting line up for 3 games helps him (Liverpool yes but Newcastle?). Anyway he's back in today against a team he'd fancy to get a chance against. Few minutes in, the ball comes to him 3 yards out and he does that. Leaning back, side foots it over. Unacceptable.

I hope he scores in the second half as I like him but his finishing and attention to his job is not good enough.
