I’d have March on for Buonanotte, Ferguson on for Undav and Enciso on for Mitoma who has been terrible.

I was expecting this one to be ‘tight’ … errrmmm maybe we’re tired, maybe we’ve put out the wrong team, maybe we’re just having a bad, bad night.
Not expecting too much tbh, keep it to 3-1 ish and at least it’s not a total and utter disaster…
It’s a bit sad though… this was a winnable game… however it’s not about margins tonight, purely about us strolling and swaggering about… we’re only as good as our performances and this is frankly lamentable.
Dyche has done us (again) in that first half.

That was a tactical fiasco. No getting away from it. No changes of tempo. One touch passing prevented. Out-thought by Dyche, the Everton forwards unexpectedly direct and clinical, constantly one short when they attack. That was a completely unrecognizable half of football.

Its so congested in the middle, but Mitoma and Buonanotte arent offering enough on the switch out wide. Then when they get it they keep crossing it onto Everton heads every time, need something more incisive.

Listening at home, it sounds like the whole team have been afflicted with some mysterious debilitating disease today.
So weird, not long ago we beat Wolves 6-0., but that is Brighton and Hove Albion for you.
