Orlandi at least got on and seems to have made a difference. If he stays fit I think our creativity goes up massively. We just need a bit more luck with injuries and refs :)

You need to take into account the second half of last season yielded more points , we are better off at this moment in time.

Also to take into account is that we've been decimated by injuries in the first half of the season, including being without our star striker for 3 months.

We had fewer points at this stage last season, and we finished in the play offs, we are in FACT better than we were by this time last year.

If I recall correctly, last season we were unbeaten at home from New Year's Eve & the previous season we would also have been if Vincente hadn't missed a sitter v Reading at the death. A hard act to follow

Strange game to analyse. We were doing okay until we they were awarded a dubious penalty. We almost got an equaliser after their keeper made a complete balls up of a save, but we kind of went through the motions until half time, huffing and puffing away, creating half chances. You felt that with a half time gee up, things would pick up in the second half. They didn't.....

We had no pattern or cohesion to our play whatsoever for much of the second half. The team looked as though they had no idea of what the game plan was and passes were going astray everywhere with Bournemouth threatening to catch us on the break. Kas hit a screamer that rattled the bar, but apart from that we were all at seas with the rain.

The big difference came when Barnes and Orlandi came on, especially the latter. We picked up and Barnes was unlucky not to score. Wards equaliser was well deserved after much hard work. After the awful early second half, the last few minutes saw some of the most exciting football this season. Their goal led a charmed life and we could have nicked all three points.

We were scrappy at times today but still worth something. The Ref was awful, not only for the penalty, but for not clamping down on the blatant timewasting by Bournemouth.
