With regards to the goal, El-Abd pulled himself out of position instead of putting himself between Macken and the keeper, there was already a defender, maybe 2 actually pulling out towards Macken, El-Abd left a massive gap for Macken to shoot at.

Talking to people who went it seems they had a much more positive view than was created on SCR. Seems that the second half was very good to watch.

Three points is three points. We played much better in the second half but the defence looked shaky at times.
