[Politics] Brexit

If there was a second Brexit referendum how would you vote?

BBC. God they are pathetic.
It is pathetic, we all suspect their bias but this referendum has really shown them up for what they are. An absolute disgrace. Even the excellent France 24 has shown various reports of happy leavers partying in the streets and pure joy on people's faces. We have seen nothing of this on the BBC. The bell end adorned penis specialist and his appalling interview with Daniel Hannan was like a spoilt kid asking why he could not go out to play.

I hope when this has all died down we can kick this bloated group of so called journalists into the free market they suddenly seem to adore.

You know she was referring to the "threats and Lies" from the rival camp ........dont you?

I am certain he did, I believe he was pointing out that there were threats and lies made by the leave campaign that were swallowed, and it was these that were more compelling. He even provides one for you.

The clamour is dying down. Kids who didn't vote will scream but, by default have no weight having not voted properly. Don't vote = No political voice. That taught them a lesson school didn't! The rest of us adults split ideologically. The result looks as though it will stand and we have to get on with it.

There is an ideological aspect to my wish to remain in the E.U., but I also truly believe it will not be good for Britain in many ways, and not good for Europe, and I mean Europe not just the E.U.
In the long run, I believe it will make little difference economically if we are in or out, but that we will shrink immediately and take several years to get back to where we were, which will be several years behind where we would have been if we had remained.

The government website went down for 2 hours, and was re-opened for a further 48 hours, in the hope young people would get their arse down the polling station. Either the young people couldn't be bothered or probably thought campaigning on social media would make the difference.

Us oldies, 41 year olds who apparently have no rights to vote and should now die actually got off our arses and voted.

Call it a lesson in life experience.

This is brilliant.

While many of the points he makes are broadly accurate he is guilty of many of the accusations he is leveling at his target homogenised generalised group.

Personally i think this kind of divisive nonsense is the last thing needed right now.

pull yer head in son....unless you intend to go and live in hayes or shoreditch or folkestone or margate or eastbourne.........the only opinion that expats should voice is out ....cos that's what we did.

Interesting to see all the leave voters saying they "did their own research" and didn't fall for the lies. Which is of course bullshit. They don't seem to have much to say when asked what "research" they did. Oh yes, I bet they spent hours down the library.

By that logic anyone leaving the country from now on in should be campaigning to get us to rejoin the EU immediately, since they are now leaving the UK rather than the EU.

Pal of mine just lost his house buyer as they are Polish, they had a moving date and everything. So he's a few grand down then.

Makes you wonder how these Polish immigrants could afford a house doesn't it, being on benefits and all.

Well they are clearly lying and spouting bullshit as usual. Just look at all the Brexit clowns at the top of this thread who think the referendum was an instruction to end free movement of people. They didn’t even research or understand what the question meant FFS!

Cameron, May and the EU leaders seem to think it was an instruction to end free movement of labour too.

Poor old Guardian has to give it's traumatised readership a straw to clutch at :lolol:

I would find it incredibly ironic if the referendum result is not a legal reason to invoke article 50, because of the rule of UK law, which supposedly many Bexiters want!

I agree it's likely not the case but the thought did make me laugh, I do hope its true.
