Is there a problem with having an EU army then?!

Practically if you have a shared border it makes sense to have a shared group of people who can defend said border. Wouldn't a navy be particularly useful in stemming the refugee crisis? Or some sort of organised command? This is how NATO works.

The EU is like the old Soviet Union!!!!! Really?

I suggest that you delve in to it a lot further then instead of accepting the word of your so called credible politicians.

An empire at any cost is what the corrupt lying scumbags strive to achieve. it doesn't matter how they go about getting it just as long as they get it.... fu*k the Greek's and fu*k the southern European's with their 56.1% unemployed.. fu*k the fact that the far right are springing up all over Europe as a result of their backward policies... fu*k the fact that there are growing tensions and a clash of cultures in many of it's diverse communities ,, in told fu*k the people and their democratic rights to ever be able to vote again.

This is just half of what they have in store. when you know the real motives behind some of this projects creator's.you have a right to be fearful. .

Farage was laughed at when he suggested there are plans for an EU army. Once again he was right

What is your basis for thinking Mr Farage was right? The lurid Times headline was not supported by the report accompanying it - the EU planning document simply considers ways of better military co-operation - welcome surely - at times of stress and its author makes clear that the plans "in no way aim to set up an EU army". The author shares suspicions of creating European military structures with the UK government. There is no story here, although with crushing inevitability Liam Fox announces that "This (the referendum) is our last chance to stop being dragged into a permanent EU military force."

That's what NATO is for.

I don't see NATO doing anything though. That's a transatlantic alliance and this is a European problem. Couldn't some EU countries donate 6 months of a deployment or something, give it a typically EU acronym, European Union Shared Naval Security Service - EUNSS - and manage the situation? Not a standing army but some way of actually dealing with the consequences of having no internal borders.

Can't see it working . Who'll be in charge Germany? More than likely. There will be to many countries wanting their input. The way EU run things there would be a delay in deciding tactics.Decision making would have to go to a vote! By then we'd be beaten.

How did you find all this out? Not even the Leave campaign leadership seems to be aware of this information.

Thanks for clearing this up. I'm sure some of your thinking has influenced the official campaign.

Variety is a good thing. So why are we taking millions for the EU and hardly any from the rest of the world? The EU doesn't promote immigration, it skews it.

The EU is just one big immigration club. Personally I'd prefer a doctor from India or programmer from Brazil rather than the influx of unskilled labour from Eastern Europe. Don't you agree a points-based system without prejudice for country of origin is a better system?
