This is a real strange one, i have no doubt that Martin Allen could be a fine manager in the higher leagues.

No actual proff he is better than MM to be honest, hasn't got Brentford out of the league and although however lucky we were in the playoffs MM did achieve this.

Not sure where Allen will go from Brentford, all seems odd

I think Allen had an interview for the Tranmere job, but they don't seem to want him.

Why would they want two managers, haven't they given the job to Ronnie Moore?

Allen is still jobless, but linked to Northampton, Tranmere and MK Dons

He'd have trouble getting the Northampton job as John Gorman has had it some time.

I wouldn't want Allen here - he is the new Ian Holloway.
