If this one works out, seems like it will be a feather in the cap for Hurzeler, which would be good news. I’m sure it owes most to Albion’s scouting but reads like the German coach may have tipped the balance considering the competition.

I'm quite surprised, don't really think we have a lack of the kind of qualities he brings. Makes me a tad worried about a potential Mitoma sale.

Another young attacking midfielder??? Our team is so unbalanced, we desperately need a right back - I’d argue 2 right backs.

With all these purchases and loans it really feels a bit scatter gun, we’ll loose our rep for developing talent due to lack of space in the squad. Are we the new Chelsea in this regard?

Of course, in Bloom & Barber we trust, can’t argue with their track record. But things feel different this time with the sheer amount of player being bough who all play the same positions.

Nothing against this particular player of course, he look ace

We still have both Veltman and Lamptey, and then Hinshelwood (although assume he will be considered a CM this season). Not a desperate need.

Trying to work out where he’d play? Looks like he’d be direct competition for Minteh from his show reel but saw it suggested he might prefer midfield so would he be the No 10 playing in front of Weiffer?

I can’t believe the club invested so much in the Japanese tour if they have any intention of selling Mitoma.
I've assumed he'll be sold next summer but if he gets a great start to the season.. there will be talk, at least.

IF Lille win tomorrow I may just start believing this could be the best transfer window ever for us

I think Hurzeler is signing Gruda to take Undav's place in the squad. It is interesting that he seem to have stepped up our interest in Gruda immediately Undav signs for Stuttgart.

I think Hurzeler wants a high press, high energy player that has goals in him - I think the right-winger thing is a red herring. O'Riley would be the safer bet now but Gruda is potentially a better player.
