Probably from the jail Phil, I will forgive him that one as he did write some great lyrics ("Black Rose" for example).

My shout at the radio one from recent years is Alicia Keys "Empire State of Mind" (although I believe Jay-Z may be the person responsible for the song)
"....big lights will inspire..." is one of many examples of questionable lyrics, I also hate the way that the dj's on Fart FM and the like fawn over it and claim it as a modern classic.

It's not, it's shite.

Despite being critically acclaimed, paraquote (from memory) "it is a fitting and beautiful ode to his hometown" and the lyrics do make sense. I love looking over the city from Race Hill at night and seeing all the lights.
