Stupid IDIOT
Good luck to them my ****ing arse. Never liked the ***** and as soon as they are back in the lower leagues the better. If they do go up then at least we won't have to go to Dean Court next season.

If this is true - then what's our excuse for not reinvesting in the squad, seeing as we sold key players for more than £10m last summer too. Additionally, we have more than twice their attendances.
IIRC Bournemouth were losing £15m a year a couple of years ago, which was slightly more than we were at that time. None of it makes sense, they're either cheating or simply a better run club than us - I doubt it's the latter.
Can't really blame them as they've got a good chance of Premiership football in 6 months time and the subsequent gravy train that goes with it.
However we have the bigger fanbase, better facilities and infrastructure. Our success, when it comes, is likely to be more long-lasting.

It's not rocket science either, they presumably buy the type of player that the manager wants rather than let someone who has never managed or played at a decent level make the decisions whilst being overseen by non football fan bean counters.
Correct as always, 8ace.
Bournemouth are a bunch of tin pot twats. I've always disliked them for a couple of reasons: 1) they "hilariously" named their away end "the Brighton beach end" because it was crumbling away and 2) South Today always gave more coverage to that noddy club over ours purely because they are that bit closer to Southampton. Even in the days when we were going for promotion to the top division and they were in division three, they'd give more airtime to these little SHIT-PUFFINS.
And as if you weren't sure how noddy they really are, when they got promoted to league one a few years ago at Burton, this is what their fans sang: "Que sera sera, wherever we'll be we'll be, we're going to St Mary's, que sera sera"
How fking NODDY is that?
I hope they end up in the play offs and end up back in league one where they belong in 18 months time.
They've sold players and bought better ones for the same or less money.
We spent the same money we laid out on Ulloa on Baldock and COG. Our record signing has turned out to be a dud.
I know. And that annoys me too as Bournemouth is 100 miles away. You can't talk about our big rivals of the 60's and early 70's like that.
Oh yes they were.
That's more likely to be us palCorrect as always, 8ace.

We have a thread on here about Bournemouth at least on a fortnightly basis at the moment, and each time our responses seem to sound more and more upset or jealous about them.
We had our time as the south coast darlings and we missed out and have to rebuild. Now it's Bournemouth's turn, they may achieve it or they may miss out and then have to spend a couple years rebuilding themselves. Football is a cycle. Their fans have been through plenty of crap the same as the Albion, both of us are in a better place right now, that's positive.
At the end of it all, Bournemouth passed FFP so the Football League must be content with their books. Other clubs failed. Those who are so angry about finances should direct their anger at those failing clubs - Blackburn and Forest off the top of my head. FFP is far from perfect in itself, but that's not Bournemouth's fault - that's the football league.

they're at the whim of some random Russian bloke who has absolutely no emotional connection with the club or area.
Annoying, isn't it?
Dean Court...
...and for the last time people... We passed FFP...!!!!! At least some on here seem to actually have done some research and don't come across as being bitter, just because we're sitting at opposite ends of the league...
No, we're not cheating...No, we're not big payers... No, we haven't bought the league as 85% of out team were with us in Lg 1... No, we won't fail FFP next year (I hope), and yes we do only get 11k attendances... As one of you eluded to, capacity is not everything... If we were to be promoted then actually, capacity would probably be at the bottom of the list of our income... It really wouldn't matter...
IMO, 5 million is also stupid money to be spending, and I don't think you'd get many arguments over on our MB either... But Eddie knows who he wants and believes he can do something with this lad... You're also forgetting that turning Grey into a better player would be just plain good business as he'd be worth 3 times that in a couple of years...
Maybe, just maybe, AFC Bournemouth has become a very well run ship and with the benefit of our owner, who is willing to reinvest a lot the money we got in, we can push on and afford a bit more than most perceive us to be able to... Without cheating...!!!!
