Why do they need to call a board meeting to accept a transfer request?

Maybe there is some thing else?

Seagull73 seemed to say there was more to come.

Being "taken over" probably requires a board meeting and only 4 days until the 8th Jan :jester: All this Leon stuff is obviously just a smokescreen and a red herring :smokin:

The board meeting is to sack McGhee and install Sir Howard Wilkinson and Alan Ball as joint managers, it's obvious Kinky.

I was thinking more along the lines of bids, but yes that would clearly be my wet dream......:tosser:

I would have thought that a board meeting would be a regular thing, and Leon is just one item on the agenda. I should think that they would meet more regularly this month because the transfer window is open, and signings have to approved at board level.

How would Tottenham Hotspurs do it? Probably more efficiently than Brighton no doubt.

They have to decide whose version of events to accept LK that he was sticking up for FDM or MM that he was out of order.

My guess matter deffered until after the result on Saturday.

Win Saturday = possible big draw = more income = more available to give to MM to spend during transfer window to stay up.

Defeat Saturday = question do we give the money to MM or another?

ZERO chance of LK winning this one... he is gone... MM is staying...
