Why in fucks name do I get at least 2 calls a day from bloody telesales twats

I wouldn't mind. but without trying to be racist, half of them cant speak English properly. If you're gonna waste my time, at least make sure I can understand you,and if I say I have to go shortly, dont take up even more of my time.

Oh yeah the people were called Toucan Telecom if anyone else gets any grief.

I get 2/3 sales call from 5pm every evening. As soon as I here " is that Mr Glover " I just put the phone down.

Rude ?, possibly, but they are being rude for calling me in the 1st place.

I even got a call Boxing day last year !

I think that cold calling on a Sunday is illegal. Next time threaten to report them to the regulators (then tell them to F**k off).

I even had some tosser ring me the other day going "We talked about a mortgage last year". I said "no we didn't". He said "Are you sure?" in a very patronising tone. I said "I've just graduate from university and I'm planning to go travelling, why would I want a mortgage?". There was moments silence, and he then apologised. Plum. Is it not enough that they have my details, they actually think they know me as well! Mugs.

I use telediscount for cheap calls- mainly because they have never hassled me.

I like to bait them... string them along... show an interest, that kind of thing. I see myself as a bit of a hero for whilst I am discussing the merits of a 5 or 6 point locking system on my bay windows, others are free to enjoy their evening.

We got fed up with calls and registered with a regulator to try and stop them. The call centres are usually in India somewhere I think, cheap labour but unfortunately none of them can speak english
