Blokes in flip-flops .... Is it Gay?

Following a convesration on the train last night, what do NSCers think of blokes in flip flops?

Personally I file them with blokes in white trousers and men in 3/4 length trousers as very gay :safeway

Anyway, like to hear your view

i hate flip flops dont know why, think they are BIRDS shoes.

So i stick to trusty trainers

I don't mind those shower shoes that have a solid bar across the top of the foot, it's the idea of the little strap through the toes that's a bit gay

Don't do flip flops but I have pair of sandle type things that are good for the summer. Better than trainers as your feet don't get all hot and sweaty.
I've got a couple of pair of 3/4 length trousers though so I guess I'm riding the gay train to battyville on that front.
