Gotta wish Big Al all the best, especially at Donny.

Thanks for everything, we wouldn't be in the league without you.

Big loss for us, but good luck to him, he is a model professional, a fine talent, some of his saves in those last few games kept us up last season and he always gave his "all" to us. To think of the amount of threads devoted to the little shit going rather than this excellent player.

Good luck Al, you are a credit to your profession

Bloody hell! I think that this must be your first post that i nearly agreed with (except your bit about a "little shit" whom i assume is meant to be our best striker Leon Knight!).

With Villa not certain to let us have Henderson, we may miss out on two good keepers! :nono:

Hendo's not that great. He was shocking for about his first 8 games. He improved but still didn't inspire a great amount of confidence.

AB - Questionable going forward, with a woeful first touch and perhaps not a natural finisher. Strong in the tackle, and a bit of a dead ball specialist. Long throws also a speciality. Pretty good in nets, and has a bronze swimming certificate.

We had to make a choice and already had one offer for Hendo turned down, upped it, had it accepted and now the Villa keeper has a virus. Not a lot we can do except wait now.

Lets hope its only MAN FLU

Blaney was better than Henderson in my opinion. At least he caught it unlike Henderson who seems to have gone to the Perry 'push it away' Digweed school of goalkeeping.

Keeley is going to have to work hard on those stiff hands of Hendo - it's the one real area of concern about him.

Just far enough away from LDC
I would have thought that up until Blayney's retrun, Henderson was odds on for the contract. However when Blayney came back I thought he quickly got back to the form we saw last season. I personally thought that FDM and Big Al were very similar but Henderson is a totally different keeper and hence why the defence look a bit unsure at times.

It was a tough choice and I hope McGhee has made the right one.
