Image search for my name brings up a photo of my car, slightly oddly.

When i search for my name a picture of me dressed as Mario comes up.

i love the image search where it keeps adding results as you scroll down.
VERY useful for quick looking with no need to hit 'next page' every 2 seconds...

Doesn't work properly. You type in 'Crystal Palace' and it doesn't take you to a sewage site.

I'd have thought a picture of myself would be a more likely result than my motor, however theres none of me that I can see at all.

Well, you are driving the car, so technically it is a picture of you.

Type bbciplayer into Google, and the link appears after the second b; in Bing, it doesn't. In fact the results disappear after a few more keystrokes, so you have to tap in the whole phrase to be sure it's understanding your quest, and then click on another icon just to display them. How annoying!

Like I said, I don't think Bing is FULLY up and running yet, they're expecting to have it properly rolled out by Wednesday, according to the paper.

Bing will eat in to Google's market share until Google adopts the new features in Bing.

I doubt it to be honest.

Googles strength is very much behind the scenes.

It simply brings back the pages you want, ranked correctly and fast.

That an extremely hard thing to, using very complex probability algorithms.
