Whilst he's not as funny as he used to be he's ok by me.

He was funny years ago to be fair.

On the comedians comedian he only got to no 8 out of 50. It was due to his past performances his "crown" has slipped since the Ken Bigley stuff and the lotto adverts and this was reflected in the comments other comedians and comedy producers had to say about him.

He is still absolutely hillarious, (bigley jokes aside and his great tours) his stand up sets are still intuative and funny, and only tommy cooper could make me laugh more on just looking at him.

he's got alot of bad press for one bad comment IMHO - and to be fair i know alot of so-called intellectuals that were saying the same not long before he said it.

to be fair the lotto adverts were terrible - but i suppose he got a nice pay packet out of it. and lets face it - the eddie izzard recycle adverts arent too brilliant either
