Ashes test at Lords. '83' Hereford & Doncaster (97) Sussex rolling Yorkshire over in 07 at Hove to set up back to back title wins. Oh and Stenhousemuir-v-Dumbarton in 91,that kept traffic off the roads.

Albion games:

91 Play-off final
97 Doncaster (H), Hereford (A) - the highest and lowest feelings I've ever had watching sport

Otherwise:

1984 Kent v Middlesex NatWest final
1993 Parma v Antwerp Cup Winners Cup final
2002 French Cup final

Not very impressive, really!

In terms of numbers of spectators, the Isle of Man TT takes some beating - last there in the 1980's when the late great Joey Dunlop was winning everything.

In terms of the most enjoyable day at a sporting event it must be the 2006 C&G Final at Lords - James Kirtley's finest hour!

Also happy to say I will be at the MCG on Boxing Day to watch the first day of the 4th Ashes Test...

Brighton vs. Bristol City play-off final 2004
Brighton vs. Notts County play-off final 1991

Lords & Oval test matches vs. South Africa 2003
England WC qualifiers
Tour de France 2005 (I blinked at the wrong moment)
Rugby League Challenge Cup Finals in early 90s when Wigan used to win everything (got family from up there)

Wembley 83 great day out ruined by the replay
Hereford 97 for the most nerve-racking
Euro 96 semi England v Spain
The first Singapore FA Cup Final including world record attempt at Macarena :rave:
The Derby twice
Cheltenham Gold Cup four times, biggest in numbers and :drink:
Sussex C+G Final, 20-20 Finals day couple of Test Matches
MLB and NBA  games in states

Out of all them my personal biggest was Hereford.

94 & 95 Brands Hatch GP, the Fogarty glory years.

Football : '83 FA Cup Final (obviously) 1990 World Cup - England v Belgium, England v Cameroon and England v Germany (Semi-final, Gazza's tears etc.)

Motorcycling : As above and more in World Superbikes but all with paddock and pit lane access, and hospitality. Moto GP, usually the final round at Valencia, again with the above trimmings, 2002-2006.

PS Foggy never rode in GP's, only World Superbikes, oh, and he is a t****r of the highest order! Great rider in his day though.

For tension and actually feeling part of the occassion Hereford.

1983 FA Cup Final, was there but sadly far to drunk, looking back that's a regret.

Saw Brian Lara score his 400 against England in Antigua, fantastic, I cried. Saw Shane Warne take his 700th wicket against England in Melbourne. Both fantastic sporting events but not a patch on Hereford away.
