you what?

there is still competitive sport in sussex schools.

There used to be competition at all levels of school sports. Your first aim was to get in the form team, then the house team for your year, then the school team for your year then the district team , then the County etc to the top.

This was abolished to a great extent by the authorities insisting on mixed team which goes against all football rules for anybody over 7 so I asssume for other sports. It was also said again by the ILEA that it deprived players of lesser ability from participating. What crap!

A lot of bad parenting skills are down to laziness.

It is easy to give into tantrums instead of making the effort to sort out the problem.

Easy to stick the child in front of a video/dvd instead of making the effort to walk to the park and play with your child etc

I hate the parks. If you're lucky you will find one that doesn't have any broken glass, dog shit or discarded syringes. Then you have to watch your kids dicing with death on the play equipment whilst learning all sorts of choice language from the teenagers that loiter there.

Thank goodness for the countryside and beaches
