Big 'We Want Falmer' chant just before kick off on Saturday!

Suggestion:
Let's get the message across loud and clear to the armchair hordes on Saturday. Instead of Paul's 'battle cry' we'll start a big chant of 'We Want Falmer' just before kick off on the PA - everyone join in and keep it going as long as possible.
Good idea?

Great idea only problem is I don't get into the ground until about one minute before kick off normally as do many others. Surely it would be better to do it at the start of the second half when everyone is sat in their seats. Of course like FS said it'll probably last about 10 seconds.

maybe we should make it "we love being sitting down and moaning" and then when everyone starts singing that(which they will)we'll change it to "we want falmer" and they'll be caught up in the flow!
if anyone talks to plymouth fans before the game maybe we could get them to chant it too?

Fine idea but it will have to be IMMEDIATELY before kick-off as Sky always cut to adverts just before kick-off and then there's only 10 secs or so before first whistle.

Yes, I realise that. As the ref is poised to blow his whistle, we start the chant. Jumping around also a good idea (especially if it's as cold as it is in Southwick right now!!) Just keep it going as long as we can - obviously once the match has started we won't be able to carry on for long over the PA...

What an 'orrid name Falmer is ? It will sound like the noise a cat makes when it it by its tail and swirl around your head.

I never know how it is pronounced as the students come from all over Britain. I suppose it is Fow mar, me coming from Sussex, this seems more likely.

"Prescott, Prescott, gives us a ground" might work better?
