I have a feeling Shakey wasn't #1 at Chrsitmas either.. it was the week after.. Whitney Houston was #1 the week before.

I might be wrong...though i doubt it!


I also have a feeling that Bob The Builder's CHRISTNAS #1 was Mambo#5, and Can We Fix It came out earlier.. might be wrong about that one though!

And... Band Aid II were number one in 1989 not Band Aid... rant over..

According to the Bible (Guiness British Hit Singles).. the Xmas number 1 is the song sitting at number 1 on the sunday prior to Christmas.... the otyher charts are not recognised as official charts and haven't been since 1963.. hence the debate about what was officially the Beatles first #1.
