Was watching the rather splendid offering that is ‘A Bridge Too Far’ last night, so what is your favourite war film (gawd knows what EP has in his collection...).

Tedious trivia alert:

Possibly the only war film featuring the subtitle "Eindhoven". As featured in the movie, the town was liberated 64 years ago tomorrow, and the troops rolled past about 50 metres from where I'm sitting now. Not a lot of people know that.

Yep correct I couldn't remember the full title, just goggled it and saw it was a Michael Winner film - I therefore want no association with it
