I had the best job as a teenager

I worked for 3 years in a Quasar laser centre. Free games, free arcade games, pinball, had keys at 16 so used to go in at 2am after clubbing with all my mates, with some beers and some smoke and a pizza/kebabs, whack on some old school really loud on our 1.5k rig (92 - 94 like old grooverider and top buzz, jumping jack frost et al) and shoot each other

Without doubt, or question, or any degree of indecision whatsoever, the best job I have EVER had was operating the main scoreboard at Sussex CCC (before it went digitalised)

There were two of us in there. I must have watched every ball of every Sussex 1st and 2nd XI game at Hove for three summers, kept the score and pulled the most complex series of ropes I've ever seen. "Two to Moores, that makes it 191" Clunk clunk, Clunk clunk clunk. Clunk.
