Best positon for an away end?

One of the first things Martin O'Neill did at Villa was move the away fans out of the stand behind the goal apparently.

interesting as i was (rose tinted glasses alert) talking about the atmosphere at the Goldstone when the South Stand was standing. There was a rivallary between the South and the North stands which created an amazing atmosphere at the time...of course the key could be 'standing' rather than having both ends

Norwich seem to have it IMO. In the corner next to the loudest part of their satdium - where they will be least effective.
