I don't think the standard of Italian restaurants in Brighton is all that great.

However, I am led to believe Latin in the Lanes is pretty good (haven't been - can't comment), but also Al Fresco has vastly improved over the past couple of years, but my favourite is... Si Signore in Sydney Street.

There is a cracking little one on the right hand side of Preston St going down towards the front. I think it begins with "C".

None of the above compare the La Fiorentina along Western Road & opposite Norfolk Square. It's been there for years and is run by a husband & wife.
