And how could I forget Galileo's in Woodland Drive - a little bit pricey but worth it.

Depends on what you want really.

V.cheap good family meal - Fat Leo
Decent food, not the cheapest, or most expensive and nice surroundings in the heart of town (they give you a pager so you can have a drink in the Black Lion or Cricketers while u wait) - Jamie's Italian
Good all rounder, reasonably priced - Al Duomo
Cheap, good food, family friendly and usually buzzing - Pinocchio
Good for large groups, think reviews are slightly unfair, never walked away disappointed and they really welcome kids - Donatello
Meal for 2 - Alfresco or Otello
Chain Italian but good food and surroundings - Prezzo Brighton Marina.
Best value for money imho, good food - Pinccolo

There's also Carluccios - good for large groups, Pizza Express, Picasso, Ask, Si Signore (think you can bring your own drinks), Leonardo, Topolino - we are spoiled for choice!
