He was a hero to thousands of people though. Oasis are the biggest band this country has produced in the last 15 years and Liam Gallagher fronted them very well, I think he has every right to be put forward to be honest. Some people think he's cock but you cannot deny that he went for it in a very big way.

I agree Oasis were a big group and I'm sure they have massive album sales (I have two of their albums) but imo I just don't see Liam as a legendary front man.

NEVER!! That hippy had to be the most repetitive wanksmith ever to hold a mic. He repeated the same ''does anyone remember laughter'' at every gig, and his flowery chit-chat was schoolgirl level at best!
He thought himself some kind of viking, but I don't think they ever had poofs like him swinging axes.

Hendrix, Rory Gallagher or Alvin Lee. They ruled as guitar-slinging frontmen - Jagger def as singer.
