I can slightly top it actually...
On the morning the draw was made...
"Shall I ignore that private call on my mobile phone?"
To which the answer was hauntingly 'yes...it's probably work wanting me in on overtime'
The phone rang again about 10 minutes later...
"Shall I ignore that private call again?"
To which the answer was 'no...'
Thank GOD!
Seriously it still sends shivers up my spine just how close we came to not winning... anyone know how I can get over that anguish?... even though it's irrelevant as we DID win it!!!!

I got along to the club twice.. first time was to do photos with the cheque, and second time was the unveiling of CKR... I got his, DK & MM's autograph on a personalised shirt the club gave me.
Was a really good time.. I think it's all died down now though, so on with the football!

Buying Wardy was a pretty smart move by the club,his signing just seemed to make that whole 70,s era special,doubt if we ever see the likes of him again?:dance:
