One of the British national daily newspapers is asking readers "what it
means to be British?". Some of the emails are hilarious but this is one
from a chap in Switzerland ...

"Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a
Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a
Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American
shows on a Japanese TV. And the most British thing of all?
Suspicion of anything foreign ".

Indian or Chinese tea BoF?

I'm genuinely pleased we're such a mongrel nation, we'll nick anything off anybody us and call it our own.

Hehe. I'm bringing Mt. Fuji back with me next year. I've already started the process of Britishising it by giving it a traditional British name...

Mt. De Vicomte de Trevailleux.:)

Definitely Indian.

I agree it is good that we have immersed ourselves. Funny that we as a nation remain suspicious though.....

Whilst I do enjoy a Belgian beer. I personally think British beer is the finest in the WORLD!

Harvey's being the pick of the bunch.

But all those countries love football.

And more importantly love beating the country that invented it.
