Did a quick look up, looks like Del Piero, Juninho and Mihaijlovic are a long way ahead of him. And Pirlo.

Del Piero's ratio over 8 years is 1 goal for every 3 free kicks shots, compared to roughly 1 in every 15 for Beckham.

Juninho's ratio while playing for Lyon was 50%, Beckham's would be less than 10%.

Just out of interest, where did you get these stats, and how reliable is the source?

I'm not saying the players you mention weren't exceptional at free kicks, but again, stats only tell part of the story. Also, although Juninho was one of the best free-kick takers I have ever seen, I cannot believe that half of his attempts, over a career spanning more than ten years, went in. That would surely constitute hundreds and hundreds of goals. Think of how many free kicks he must have taken.

Beckham against Greece.

Still makes the hairs on my arm stand on end, what a moment! But then, we all know what happened next!
