As it's the middle of Summer, what was your favourite WITHDEAN Boxing Day experience, as we will NEVER go through it again, EVER!

Last year vs. Orient was one of the most depressingly sh*t games of football ever.

Mixed feelings to be honest. But probably the FIRST against Barnet as it was still all relatively new. Managed to get 10 tix which back then was almost unheard of, plus there was a bit of publicity as they were sponsored by LOADED mag and we were obviously SKINT.

Gillingham was the best for me. It marked a turning that season, and was the first time we had gone behind and come back to win (Andrew Crofts had given them the lead). QPR by contrast for me marked the point after which we would definitely get relegated.

2-1 against Gillingham, snowy, Richard Carpenter scored a great winner.

some good memories of Boxing day Withdean action

the Wycombe and Gillingham games where fantastic

the Hinsh/Sully cock up was heartbreaking at the time but starting to hurt less (and almost, *gulp* become funny) each time I see it

but last Boxing Day - that C*NT McGleish walking off injured - that was my best Christmas Pressie last year

I know that this isn't part of the poll but The worst away from home in the Withdean period was Barnet in 2000.

We won 1-0 through an OGH goal but it was so bloody cold I thought my dick had dropped off - I remember that I was still shivering an hour later. Coldest I've ever been at a game.
