Beachdown Festival 2008

Anyone got tickets for this Devil's Dyke fest in August? Rumour has it that it may not get permission to go ahead because part of the site is on National Trust land. No idea how reliable that 'rumour' is though.

Theres loads of rumours flying about which are lies i think, as there's various parties who are not keen for it to in ahead making stuff up. It had it's licence hearing and was approved a few weeks ago, doubt much has changed since then.

some friends asked if we wanted to go .......................... who is it aimed at ? I am sure they are all very good but I have not heard of any of them ................ so I am guessing it is not aimed at 50-somethings ...................

I'm looking forward to it and know scores of people who've bought tickets.

I think it's quite bargainous too considering it spans a whole 4 days, unlike most other UK festivals which have only 3 days of music, and being on our doorstep means there're no transport costs involved.

De La Soul, Fun Lovin' Criminals and Roy Ayers are all gonna be there. Nice diverse line-up and a good spattering of local talent too.
