I take your point, but on the whole the players we picked up were alright. No manager since has got us within 90 minutes of the Premiership, which would have us in dreamland these days. Bazza seemed a stuborn bastard, but despite being much maligned (especially from the Gulls Eye chaps) his record stands up pretty well all things considered.

I might be missing the point here, I know Bloom has leant all that money for the stadium, but I thought our playing budget was going to be roughly the same as last season's budget?
