It might have been that the amount was correct but the way we wanted to pay it was not. For example a pile of payements if he does this or that.

True, I never thought of that...So basically it was £1 now and £149,999 if we win the European Cup within the next 4 seasons. Makes sense to me.

I believe his contract is up in the summer as well

Interesting one then...Barnet are taking a bit of a risk if he carries on knocking them in on a regular basis. Come January they might get a lower offer with his contract nearly up or he might just run his contract down and walk off for free.
