yet as soon asa young player signs over 50% of people on here start the slating straight away .And starting silly pols like this one
thinhg is hes young 20 and probably still silly enough to read this shit
so after a couple of games without a goal its goingto start to destoy him

This is precisely the reason I started the poll. Some people are saying he's not good enough but I think the vast (silent) majority will have faith in him which can only encourage him.

Assuming we get in this main striker, he'll probably be third choice (if Murray's still with us) - so I'd see him getting between 10-15 starts, and probably quite a few sub appearances. I'll go for 8 goals, which I'd be happy with considering his age and the bit-part role I expect him to play.

Very hard to tell though.

i think Barnes will get between 12 - 15 goals and he by the end of the season he will have scored in some important games

Very hard to answer, as I feel almost certain he won't be first choice for the whole season.

I would agree with that as I see him as a man who will brought on late ina game when we are chasing a goal or the other way around start and then be taken off later but not complete 90 mins of many games.

I never know what to think of Barnes, from what i have seen of him i reckon 15 at the most but then he could turn out to surprise us and get 15-20.
