But I still maintain we need to be looking at better players if we are going for automatic next season.

Barnes is good as a squad striker in a 442 system having balls fed to him to run on to and score or to feed the other striker, what he cant do is the lone striker role that gus is unfortunately so fond of. Hed be a good edition to the squad although we still need a top striker for next season anyway but the likelihood plymouth letting him go is virtually zilch i would think.
