@Stat Brother if you’re out there I took your advice and cycled to the Amex for the Liverpool game on Sunday. 5 miles each way and a piece of piss. If it’s not bucketing down it’ll be my preferred way to get to matches now.

I'd taken this thread as well-intentioned and written with affection for one of our own but, alas, he didn't take it this way himself.

I'm closing this now, and I hope he's back writing soon. I miss his contributions.
