In fairness, thats probably a play on "the Saints go marching in" rather than any kind of slur.

:D

I can see why they'd think that, I mean, being the third best team on the South Coast (with the largest budget) is certainly something to be proud of isn't it?

Well done those plucky Saints :clap2:

To be fair, a few of the Huddersfield fans said that they expect to win at the Withdean, as "Brighton will most likely be up by then, probably as Champions."

Even if we are Champions, that theory could fall down on two fronts. First, we may still be unbeaten at Withdean in the league all season and wouldn't want to lose that record at the last. Plus, we really don't take losing kindly. There was a lot of acrimony surrounding the defeat at Huddersfield and, whether or not there are important points to play for, I think the players will be hugely pumped-up to set the record straight this time.

Whilst I totally agree Trueblue, how would we feel if a Hudds win would keep SCC out of the automatic spots? Those of us with long memories will recall a certain end of season game in 1978 at the Dell.

Could be interesting!

I would have agreed 100% with that a couple of weeks ago. However, Charlton have IMPLODED recently. On the plus side Leyton are only second (to a certain club) in the number of games lost this season (9)

Peterborough will win the league.
Saints second.
Brighton third.
B'mouth 6th or 7th (not certain but it will be goal difference)

I am sharing this with you now so that you can marvel at my greatness come May.

Nevertheless, it was a brilliant result to win 3-1 away at Bournemouth. I'm not surprised they're bigging up their chances. The Cherries had won as many home league games as us before yesterday's matches. We'd have been pretty happy if we'd have got that kind of result there.
