Ahh the good old North Stand days, how I miss them but have brilliant memories, I ofton wonder what happened to so many people from that era.

I used to stand in the east sometimes with a large fellow from Reading who was christened by the North Standers as 'Blobby'. Being known to some of the lads, during a dull game a chant came from the North Stand imploring me to give them a wave. I did, only then to be greeted with an even louder chant that suggested I had a same sex preference ! Those were the days...

The 'Laurel & Hardy' tune often appeared, when the old bill appeared!

So did 'Who's that c*** with a tit on his head, doodah, doodah'.

I remember hiding a packet of roll up tobacco in there once as I didn't want my parents to discover I was smoking (I was about 14). I don't think it was the best place to hide the stuff.
