You’re “worth remembering……” statement; I may have missed the memo. In what way are Brighton fans aligned with a group of left wing anti facists from Athens?

I don’t know any supporters of Brighton to be anything more than supporters of Brighton. Even in the club’s darkest years I don’t recall any political dimensions being a thing beyond securing the club’s existence.

Feel free to provide examples of these Brightonian Prester Johns and their struggles on the cobbles with facists?

Truly fascinating stuff.
He is confusing our actual support, drawn from all over Sussex and beyond with a few posters on NSC. I think he is comparing this with Athens because he hasn’t been there.

just back from a wander round town, saw a fair few AEK Fans, said hello, all seem happy and friendly, though there were a few looking at the sheepoutside the station who seemed a bit bewildered as to its purpose!

Earlier on there were about 6 outside the Greek cafe in the Seven Dials enjoying coffee and baklava.
Wow, their ultras wearing baklava hats to hide their faces. Looks like the fear of hooliganism may have been justified.
