There is no way O'Neill will be able to tolerate those two spivs who run West Ham until the end of the season. Will end in tears and West Ham relegated imo. Really suprising appointment.

I heard it's to keep west ham up and therefore improve their chances of moving to the Olympic stadium, yet the Hammers fans I know neither want O'Neill's long ball stuff nor a move to a ground with a running track.

I tell you what. I like this notion of having the next manager lined up before the old one has actually been properly sacked. It means we don't have to put up with any "Gus To West Ham" rumours for the next week.

As a West Ham fan I'm disappointed in the way Gold and Sullivan have handled everything, stripping Grant of his dignity, but Martin O'Neill is possibly the best manager going for a club of West Ham's size.

Onwards and upwards, word is Robbie Keane wants to come over now O'Neill is in charge.

Good chance of staying up if O'Neill can see eye to eye with Gullivan.
