I remember one match at the Goldstone (about 1988) Doncaster brought about 12 (it was midweek though)


.

It was a midweek match and myself and 2 mates arrived late at the ground.The North East corner(away end) was the only turnstile open so in we went .We eventually got a transfer in to the North Stand.

Donny is also a central hub on the rail network so their fans travelling by train have easy journeys to make. Having a lot of clubs within a hours travelling distance also helps.

Newcastle is only an hour and a half away!! ( as is London). PG
